You can apply if you are currently a licensed therapist, or pre-licensed therapist working under the supervision of a licensed therapist, within the state of California and are in good standing with the Board of Behavioral Services. Your application will be carefully reviewed by a member of our team, and if accepted, we will personally walk you through our platform to get you comfortable and ready for matching!
Create an account, fill out your profile with detailed responses and submit your application when finished. Your responses will be stored when you save and continue each section, and we make it easy for you to add or edit at any time.
You will receive a personal response within 48 business hours from a member of our team via email.
Frame is free to use for your first 30 days! Most therapists on our platform paid for multiple services before joining Frame and found this free trial provided the perfect buffer to cancel other subscriptions. We’ve also kept our monthly subscription cost low at a discounted rate of $20/month!
Yes, Frame uses Stripe as our secure payment processor, and Stripe charges 2.9% + .30 per transaction. Clients store their card on Frame upfront, so you won’t ever have to bother with collecting payment information! Simply charge clients through your Frame portal after each session, and we will take care of the rest.
We allow therapists on Frame to create their own sliding scale, and prices vary from $30 to $250. We do not show your price on your profiles because we want to give you the freedom to discuss cost with potential clients during your intro calls.
While some therapists on Frame do contract with insurance, a majority of them do not. The choice is yours! We let you run your business your way.
Payments are securely processed through Stripe and get deposited to your linked bank account within 2-4 business days. We ask for your bank account information during the application process so that you can be paid without any hassle from us or your clients.
Therapy On Frame
Our proprietary matching algorithm connects therapists to clients based on your profile details and each client’s questionnaire responses. As soon as a client finishes their questionnaire, Frame immediately provides them with their top therapist matches. Your bio, specialties, treatment styles, and zip code are all important factors that potential clients review. We encourage clients to schedule intro calls with multiple matches in order to find the right fit.
After any matched intro call, you have the power to decide if you’d like to bring on the client or not.
If a client wants to view more therapists other than their matches, they can also easily find you in our directory.
You are never required to accept a new client referral. We help you grow your business in the way you want. Coming soon, you’ll be able to use Frame’s Therapist Network to refer therapist recommendations to clients on our platform.
Yes! Frame offers both secure telehealth services and in-person sessions to all therapists in our network. It’s completely up to you to offer telehealth, in person, or both. You will be able to indicate in your profile what type of sessions you offer to clients.
We know the importance of a secure and strong telehealth connection and that’s why our telehealth is powered by Zoom! All HIPAA compliant telehealth sessions can be accessed through your dashboard. Both you and your clients will receive an email with a link for each session 5 minutes before the start of the session.
Frame’s appointment confirmation tool allows you and your clients to conveniently schedule/reschedule sessions. Frame will also provide appointment reminders to your clients to save you the time and hassle!
Not necessary, but suggested! When synched, your clients can request appointments with you based on your actual availability. The feature does allow for you to block out pre-existing appointments or future events in your calendar to eliminate scheduling friction.
In addition to our practice management solution and therapy matching, we use our platform to provide educational resources and host conversations around all facets of mental health.
